Temple’s Inquiry Into Alleged Research Misconduct Gets Court Nod

Temple University can continue investigating alleged research misconduct by a medical school dean because the federal government, which funded the research, required and directed the inquiry, a federal court in Pennsylvania said.

Federal law and regulations mandate that the school work with the Office of Research Integrity during an inquiry into misconduct allegations, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
