A Temple Health LLC nurse can move forward with claims that she was denied a promotion for nearly a year because of race and age discrimination, a federal judge in Pennsylvania ruled.
Kadena Smith-Fleming, who is Black and 49 years old, adequately alleged that White or younger licensed practical nurses received better treatment, Judge Chad Kenney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania found.
