The owners of a Taco Bell restaurant in Garden City, Kan., have settled a former teen worker’s lawsuit alleging that she was sexually harassed on the job.
“N.T.” claimed that a male coworker made unwelcome and demeaning sexual comments to her, including that he wanted to have sex with N.T. and her 13-year-old sister. He also allegedly grabbed, kissed, and fondled N.T. under her clothing. Managers weren’t trained to respond adequately to her complaints, and she had to leave her job because nothing was being done to protect her, N.T. said.
