Tech, Game Workers Targeted in New CWA Unionizing Initiative (1)

The Communications Workers of America has launched the Campaign to Organize Digital Employees (CODE-CWA), an initiative to unionize tech and video game workers.

Unions have expressed strong interest in organizing digital workers in recent years but there’s been no overt sector-wide campaigns by a large international union up to now. The move is likely to cement the CWA as a major player in a growing effort to organize white-collar workers who have largely remained untouched by the labor movement.
