Teamsters’ Hoffa Reappointed to Trade Advisory Committee

President Donald Trump announced his intent to appoint Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa to another four-year term on a high-level trade policy advisory committee.

Hoffa was one of five intended appointments to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations that the White House announced Oct. 30. Among the other appointments were economist C. Fred Bergsten of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and CEO Evan G. Greenberg of the Chubb Group.

Hoffa previously served on the committee under President George W. Bush and was re-appointed to the committee by President Barack Obama in 2010 and 2014. Hoffa and ...
