The U.S. Tax Court is open to rescheduling trials and hearings as needed if individuals required to appear are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have a fever.
The court made the announcement Monday, in response to concerns over the spread of coronavirus.
- Individuals should contact the court before appearing if they “are experiencing any flu like symptoms, have a fever, or are coughing or sneezing,” according to the announcement.
- The court will also limit the number of people allowed in courtrooms. The limit will depend on “the judge’s discretion,” a spokesperson said.
