A group of former Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. workers who say they were discriminated against for not being South Asian won’t get a new trial, a federal judge said Aug. 20.
The workers claimed that the Mumbai-based company favored Indians and South Asians for projects and promotions and would “bench” other workers. A jury wasn’t convinced and ruled in Tata’s favor in November 2018 after a 12-day trial.
