T-Mobile, Amazon Get Facebook Ad Bias Lawsuit Thrown Out

Amazon.com Inc. and T-Mobile US Inc. convinced a federal court in San Jose to toss out a proposed class-action lawsuit claiming the companies discriminate against older workers by targeting their employment ads to younger people on Facebook.

  • U.S. District Judge Beth Labson Freeman allowed the plaintiffs to amend and refile their complaint to address certain gaps in their lawsuit, including the lack of plausible claims
