Syngenta, Analytics Exec Agree to End Race Bias, Sick Leave Suit

Syngenta Corp. and a former executive who alleged she was forced to continue working after suffering a major head injury and that her job was eliminated because she is South Asian have agreed to drop her lawsuit, records in a Washington, D.C., federal court show.

The joint stipulation of dismissal was filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia March 5, roughly 10 months after Judge Royce C. Lamberth ruled that Shefali Mehta could pursue claims under 42 U.S.C. Section 1981 and Washington’s Accrued Sick and Safe Leave Act.
