Student in Viral Bathroom Video Drops Suit Against Professor (1)

A female Simmons University graduate student who sued her professor after a video of her using the bathroom during a Zoom class went viral when it was posted on Twitter has agreed to drop the case, Minnesota federal court records show.

Jennifer Miles’ tort claims against the Boston-based school were previously dismissed by the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota because she failed to allege that Kyle Killian’s alleged recording and broadcast of the video fell within the scope of his employment.
