Strip Club Victory in Dancer Wage Retaliation Row Axed on Appeal

A Portland strip club and its owners must face allegations that one partner unlawfully blocked a dancer who filed a wage case from performing at another of his clubs, an appeals court said Tuesday.

The district court threw out the dancer’s retaliation allegations because the second club wasn’t their employer when the partner canceled a scheduled performance in response to their lawsuit against the first club.
