The US Department of Interior and National Park Service agreed to reinstall LGBTQ+ pride flags at New York’s Stonewall National Monument to resolve a lawsuit over the Trump administration’s removal of the flag.
The agreement was part of the parties’ Monday bid to voluntarily dismiss the case with prejudice, according to a proposed order and stipulation filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. The Gilbert Foundation and three other plaintiffs sued the agencies in February, claiming their move to take down the pride flag violated the Administrative Procedure Act and National Historic Preservation Act. ...
