A senior investment manager at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. sexually assaulted and harassed a female subordinate, and the company failed to disciple him or take steps to protect her, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in a federal court in New York.

Patricia Olivieri works as a registered client services associate at Stifel’s office in Garden City, where she reports directly to Neil Isler, according to her complaint at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
