Stew Leonard’s Yonkers LLC must face a former loss prevention manager’s claims that he was discriminated against and denied accommodation for his long-haul Covid-19.
Robert Crosby Jr.'s lawsuit pleaded plausible disability discrimination claims against the supermarket chain under the Americans with Disabilities Act and CEO Stew Leonard Jr. under the New York State Human Rights Law, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said. Crosby says he complained to management repeatedly about the lack of adherence to Covid-19 safety measures at the Yonkers store, including not requiring exposed employees to quarantine.
