Steakhouse Chain, Servers Seek Early Nod in $7 Million Wage Deal

A class of restaurant wait staff and the owners of Perry’s Steakhouse asked a court to grant early approval for a $7 million settlement resolving state and federal wage claims.

Nearly 335 servers based in Colorado, North Carolina, Alabama, and Florida would split over $4.5 million if the proposed agreement were endorsed, according to a preliminary approval motion filed March 20 in the US District for the District of Colorado.
