Starmer to Overturn Lords Changes to Workers’ Rights Bill (1)

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government will seek to reverse a series of changes made to its flagship employment rights legislation when it returns to the House of Commons in the coming weeks.

“We will obviously reinstate the government’s legislation that we set out during the passage through the Commons,” Starmer’s spokesman, Dave Pares, told reporters on Monday. That includes “overturning the amendments that were passed in the Lords,” he said.
