The National Labor Relations Board has found that Starbucks Corp. illegally removed pro-union messages from community boards and threatened workers during unionization campaigns at several stores in Michigan.
The panel of three board members held Thursday that leaders at three Starbucks cafes in Ann Arbor, Mich. violated the National Labor Relations Act by removing union material from one store’s community board and also threatened workers with decreased benefits or pay as they were unionizing in 2022.
