A Buffalo Starbucks worker whose petition to ditch the union there was dismissed by a labor board official is asking the National Labor Relations Board to overturn that decision.
The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation filed a request June 9on behalf of Ariana Cortes, who filed the paperwork in late April for a decertification election at the downtown Buffalo store known as the “Del-Chip” cafe. The company filed a separate request for review the same day, also asking the board to overturn a 2022 decision dictating how regional directors should conduct decertification elections.
