Starbucks Sheds Pair of New York Injunction Requests From NLRB

The National Labor Relations Board has dropped two complaints seeking immediate court injunctions against Starbucks Corp., after lengthy litigation over the discovery process in both cases.

Two New York federal judges this week approved the dismissal of cases stemming from the birth of the Starbucks unionization campaign in Great Neck and Buffalo, New York. The NLRB’s regional directors filed the cases in 2022, asking the court to order the company to rehire eight baristas who were allegedly fired for their union activities.
