Starbucks’ Sanctions in Wisconsin Case Get NLRB Approval (1)

The National Labor Relations Board upheld sanctions against Starbucks Corp. for failing to comply with a subpoena in an administrative case alleging the company illegally interrogated and fired workers at two Madison, Wis., locations.

The NLRB’s unpublished decision Friday leaves in place an administrative law judge’s January order restricting how Starbucks can litigate the underlying case and drawing adverse conclusions that hurt the company’s defense.
