Starbucks on Verge of Beating NLRB Injunction Bid in N.Y. (1)

Starbucks Corp. will escape a National Labor Relations Board push to obtain a temporary injunction from a New York federal court, unless the agency drops all efforts to fight back against the coffee giant’s attempts to obtain union information, a federal judge ruled.

The NLRB’s move to thwart the court’s discovery order in the case is “repugnant” and requires the dismissal of the agency’s injunction petition, US District Judge John Sinatra, a Donald Trump appointee, said Wednesday.
