Starbucks Hit With Racial Quota Claim as Florida AG Seeks Probe

Starbucks Corp. faces allegations from Florida’s top cop that the coffee giant’s hiring practices appear racially biased and should be investigated by the state’s anti-discrimination agency.

Attorney General Ashley Moody filed an administrative complaint Wednesday with the Florida Commission on Human Relations, claiming Starbucks policies appear to contain race-based quotas in violation of state law.
