Starbucks Hit With Sweeping Complaint for Refusal to Bargain (1)

Federal officials slapped Starbucks Corp. with a far-reaching complaint accusing the coffee giant of stonewalling collective bargaining efforts with new unions at hundreds of stores nationwide.

The administrative complaint, filed by the National Labor Relations Board’s regional director in Tampa, Fla., earlier this week, consolidates more than two dozen cases and alleges that Starbucks has been “failing and refusing to bargain collectively with the union.”
