Starbucks Appoints Former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to Board

Starbucks Corp. appointed former Yahoo! Inc. Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer and Chevron Corp. director Dambisa Moyo to its board of directors, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Mayer has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer technology industry and is currently the CEO of technology startup Sunshine AI, Starbucks said. Moyo runs family office Versaca Investments and previously worked at Goldman Sachs and at the World Bank, according to the company.
