Sprint Retail Workers Secure $4 Million Commissions Settlement

Sprint Corp. will pay $4 million to resolve claims brought by a group of California-based retail workers who said the company improperly reduced their sales commissions by 10% without justification, according to a deal approved in a federal court in California.

Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted Dec. 16 final approval of the settlement, partially granted the motions for attorneys’ fees and class representative service awards, and overruled a class member’s objection.
