Sports Bar Chain to Pay $700K, Apologize to End Harassment Suit

A sports bar chain in New Mexico and Texas will pay $700,000, revamp its table assignment policy, and provide other relief to settle a U.S. government lawsuit accusing it of subjecting female employees to a sexually hostile work environment.

Ojos Locos Sport Cantina LLC will also issue a letter of apology to the former employee at its Albuquerque location who brought the sexual harassment and related retaliation claims to the attention of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
