Sony Interactive Accused of Systemic Sex Bias in Pay, Promotions

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC discriminates against employees who are female or identify as female in pay and promotional opportunities, a former worker charges in a proposed nationwide class action.

Emma Majo said she faced such pay and other sex bias during her half-decade with the PlayStation maker. She worked in essentially the same position between 2015 and 2021 and was repeatedly rebuffed in her efforts at advancement, Majo said in a suit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
