SoCal Edison Workers Get Final Nod for $3.2 Million Wage Deal

Southern California Edison Co. and workers who say it ran afoul of overtime and minimum wage protections won final approval for a settlement worth more than $3.2 million.

The deal covers more than 5,100 people who worked for the electricity company in California from April 6, 2016, to Nov. 23, 2021, and weren’t represented by a union, none of whom objected to the settlement, the US District Court for the Central District of California said July 21.
