Technology staffing company Smoothstack Inc. induces workers at the beginning of their careers into a training program which underpays them and which they can’t exit without a crushing financial penalty, according to a new lawsuit.
Smoothstack recruits and trains information technology professionals before giving them assignments from client tech companies, Justin O’Brien said in a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
