SkyWest Airlines Faces Sex Discrimination Lawsuit From EEOC

SkyWest Airlines Inc., based in Utah, allegedly violated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by subjecting a female parts clerk to sexual harassment, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charged in a lawsuit filed Wednesday.

After reporting the harassment, the female employee allegedly was placed on indefinite administrative leave pending sexual harassment training that never occurred, the EEOC said. She resigned after months of not being returned to work by the airline or told she could come back to a safer environment, according to the agency.
