A former Skyline National Bank senior vice president failed to convince a federal jury that he was fired due to unlawful age discrimination and not performance issues.
The jury in Statesville, N.C., found for Parkway Acquisition Corp., doing business as Skyline National Bank, on Bennie Robert Anderson’s claims that the bank targeted him with increased scrutiny and unsolicited retirement inquiries due to his age in order to justify his termination.
