Sixth Circuit Won’t Rehear Bank Age Bias Case Backed by EEOC

The full Sixth Circuit denied a request to reconsider a decision that the EEOC and other worker advocates say could raise more hurdles for older workers to prove age discrimination.

Former Ohio bank teller Melanie Pelcha failed to convince a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in January that age was the “sole cause” of her termination.
