Single Mom Accuses Arthritis Foundation of Job Bias

A former senior executive with the Arthritis Foundation has accused the nonprofit organization of sex and disability discrimination.

Amanda Niskar says she never received any formal criticism of her work after joining the foundation as its national scientific director in May 2014. The position made her part of the nonprofit’s senior leadership team, she says in a complaint filed in federal court in Atlanta March 16.
