Shake Shack Cheated Workers Out of Wages, New Suit Says

Shake Shack Enterprises LLC is accused of shortchanging hourly workers on minimum and overtime wages by shaving hours off their recorded time sheets in a new lawsuit filed in an Illinois federal court.

Brandon Ware, who worked at a Shake Shack in the Chicago area, sued individually and collectively for willful violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. He seeks to represent other similarly situated employees at the burger chain’s nearly 200 locations across the country.
