A Senate committee delayed the confirmation hearing for Charlton Allen, President Donald Trump’s nominee for general counsel of the Federal Labor Relations Authority.
Allen, a North Carolina attorney, wasn’t at a Thursday hearing set to discuss his nomination alongside two others. An aide for the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee said his appearance was postponed due to paperwork delays.
The FLRA general counsel investigates and prosecutes labor violations committed by federal agencies, which are then reviewed by a three-member panel.
