The union representing video game workers at Sega of America has accused the company of breaking federal labor law by announcing layoffs of 40% of the staff without negotiating with the union.
The Communications Workers of America, which represents almost 200 workers at the video game developer’s Irvine, Calif. headquarters, said it filed unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board Tuesday.
