Sega of America Workers Organize to Form Labor Union With CWA

Sega of America employees filed for a union representation election with the Communications Workers of America on Monday, marking the latest foray by labor organizations into the video game industry.

The petition represents 144 employees at the Irvine, California-based division. They aim to advocate for higher base pay, improved benefits and balanced workloads, according to a statement from the CWA.
