SeaWorld Gets Worker’s Wage-and-Hour Claims Sent to Arbitration

A former SeaWorld security worker must arbitrate his individual claims that the theme park stiffed him on pay and can’t pursue claims on behalf of a proposed class made up of other California employees.

Sea World LLC and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Inc. can use a dispute resolution program agreement the plaintiff signed during onboarding to send his individual wage claims to arbitration, Judge Anthony J. Battaglia of the US District Court for the Southern District of California said in a Tuesday order.
