Seasonal guestworkers in non-agricultural industries will be able to stay in the U.S. to work to support the nation’s food supply chain, under a new temporary rule prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Department of Homeland Security announced it will change certain H-2B visa requirements to “help support the U.S. food supply chain, maintain essential infrastructure operations, and reduce the impact from the coronavirus public health emergency.”
