Screen Actors Guild Reaches Tentative Deal With Video Game Firms

The Screen Actors Guild has reached a tentative agreement on a new interactive media contract with video game developers, it says in an emailed statement.

  • Video-game voice actors are expected to suspend ongoing strike as soon as terms are finalized with gaming companies
  • NOTE: The members of SAG-AFTRA have been on strike against video game companies since July 2024 over the use of artificial intelligence in the gaming industry
  • NOTE: Video game companies include Activision, Blindlight, Electronic Arts, Epic Games
  • NOTE: Video Game Actors to Go On Strike, Seek AI-Related Protections
