Schlumberger Says Female Workers Faced Barriers Working in Field

Women are finding it difficult to work in the field for the world’s biggest oil-services provider because of a lack of accommodations.

Schlumberger surveyed its female workers and found that more than half couldn’t go to work in the field at some point because there weren’t facilities available for them there, Gavin Rennick, vice president of human resources, said Friday in a CERAWeek by IHS Markit webcast.
