Scalia Starts Labor Prep Before Official Nomination (1)

The Trump administration is moving full speed ahead to prepare Eugene Scalia for an eventual confirmation battle even though the White House has yet to formally nominate him for labor secretary.

Scalia has spent the Senate recess weeks meeting with Labor Department agencies to get briefed on their ongoing work, according to DOL sources with knowledge of the process.
