The Salvation Army allegedly discriminated against a worker with special needs in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit.
The charity allegedly fired a worker with multiple disabilities—including Asperger’s Syndrome and bipolar disorder—from a cashier position in an Ann Arbor, Mich., store, the EEOC said in a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
