Rust-Oleum Corp. settled a retaliation lawsuit brought by a White employee who said he was assaulted and then fired after reporting coworkers’ racially insensitive remarks about Black individuals.
David Ullom filed a stipulation of dismissal in the US District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia on Aug. 4 after the court stayed the case in July pending settlement. The settlement details aren’t publicly available, and neither party immediately responded to Bloomberg Law’s requests for comment.
