The following list of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission settlements and new lawsuits was compiled from court documents and the agency’s published statements.

  • EEOC v. Davis Typewriter Co.. Statute: Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Cause of Action: Sexual harassment. Relief: $11,000; review and revise workplace policies relating to sexual harassment; make EEO compliance part of management evaluation process; notice posting, training, record-keeping and other requirements.
