Rockefeller U Professor’s Race Bias Award Upheld on Appeal

The verdict that a former Rockefeller University research professor faced intentional discrimination on the basis of race or national origin was upheld Wednesday by the Second Circuit, but the appeals court rejected the plaintiff’s argument that the $450,000 award should be increased to include punitive damages.
