Rep. Cuellar’s Deputy Chief Drops Pregnancy Discrimination Suit

The office of Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) and the office’s former deputy chief of staff agreed to end her lawsuit alleging she was fired because she was pregnant and sought maternity leave, federal court records in the District of Columbia show.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia directed the clerk of the court to close the case Tuesday after Kristie Small and the congressman’s office filed a joint stipulation of dismissal.
