A New Jersey addiction treatment center stopped taking patients after workers threatened to strike May 24, the CEO of the facility’s parent company told Bloomberg BNA May 17.
Sunrise House in Lafayette, N.J., is refusing to negotiate a first contract with employees, Health Professionals and Allied Employees, which represents the workers, said May 16.
The workers threatened a three-day strike starting May 24 if a contract settlement isn’t reached.
