Regal-Beloit Worker Says Age Drove Demotion From Executive Ranks

The former vice president of sales for Regal-Beloit America Inc.'s commercial and industrial group says a new CEO’s push for “younger talent” prompted his demotion at age 58 and replacement by five younger workers, according to a lawsuit filed in Indiana federal court.

Timothy Harris says he was told his job was being eliminated and he could either retire or take a key account manager position in a different group.
