Recruiting Company Faces EEOC Suit for Disability Discrimination

Texas-based recruiting company Employment & Training Centers Inc. is facing a disability discrimination lawsuit after allegedly failing to provide reasonable accommodations to a job applicant at its Houston office, the EEOC announced Wednesday.

The company allegedly extended a conditional job offer to an applicant with end-stage renal disease on the condition that he passed a drug test. After explaining that his disability prevented him from completing a urine test, the applicant asked for a reasonable accommodation to complete the drug test using another method, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said.
